What quality of scans does HQ Photo Scanning produce?

Resolution: 300 dpi - When photos 4"X 6" are scanned, they can be reprinted three times their original size 12"X 18".

Restoration: Photos are scanned using basic filters. Photo scans are the same quality that the photo is. However older photos are enhanced if possible producing exceptional quality scans.

File type:  JPEG

File Size: average is 300 - 700 KB per photo. However some photos are smaller and some are larger. This depends on the size of the photograph, and the amount of restoration applied to the photo.

How long does It take to scan my photos?

500 - 2,000 Photos Scans

Up to 10 business days to scan after we receive the photos in the mail

50 - 100 Large Photos Scans

Up to 7 business days to scan after we receive the photos in the mail

(This is an estimation, and it may take longer or shorter to scan photos)

EXPEDITE

If you require expedite scanning, you can purchase the expedite package and scanning will be completed in 1 - 2 business days after we we receive your photos.

What can HQ Photo Scanning scan?

Photographs - 3"X 3" to 4 1/2" X 6 1/2"

Large Photographs - 7" X 5" to 8-1/2" X 11"

Photographs cannot have glue, tape or any other foreign substance on them. This will cause damage to scanners. And, we cannot scan copy write photographs.

How do I ship my photos to HQ Photo Scanning?

Shipping options:

- Prepaid Photo Shipping Box: We send you a customized photo shipping box, and you fill it with photos and send it back to us. (Postage paid, and includes shipping label and directions.)

Purchase Prepaid Photo Shipping Box separately on the purchase page.

 (Or)

- Ship photos yourself: Pack photos in your own box using our shipping instructions which we will send to you via e-mail after your purchase a scanning package. (Box, materials, and postage not included)

How do I redeem my Gift Certificate?

When checking out on the checkout page, enter the Promo Code into the Promo Code section below the total cost.

Gift Certificates must be redeemed with purchases that are at least the full amount of the Gift Certificate.
